Do your datacenter systems provide continuous uptime with security â while allowing for future growth? HPE Synergy Frame Link Modules provide basic management functions for HPE Synergy Frames like auto-discovery of resources and health-status monitoring to keep your systems up and running. Security is enhanced by separating the data network from the management network and by a variety of capabilities like Hardware Root of Trust, Secure Start, and Trusted Platform Module (TPM) file encryption. HPE Synergy Frame Link Modules also link multiple frames together into a management ring to scale your single management environment for future growth (up to 21 frames). What is new supporting point:File Encryption uses the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) on the HPE 4-port Frame Link Module for robust device security using validated encryption keys.HPE 4-port Frame Link Modules provide flexibility for long-distance connections (up to tens of kilometers) to scattered frames and to remote subnets of a data center.Hardware Root of Trust prevents tampering by detecting and validating that the correct firmware is in use on the HPE 4-port Frame Link Module.Secure Start maintains secure firmware updates and attack resilience by validating any new firmware on the HPE 4-port Frame Link Module from the previous firmware before switching the boot path.
Cisco Catalyst 9200 Series switches support dual field-replaceable power supplies. Each switch ships with one default power supply, and a second identical power supply can be purchased with the initial order or can be added at a later time. The second power supply can provide redundancy or additional power to PoE+ ports as needed.

The Foundation of Software-Defined access
Advanced persistent security threats. The exponential growth of Internet of Things (IoT) devices. Mobility everywhere. Cloud adoption. All of these require a network fabric that integrates advanced hardware and software innovations to automate, secure, and simplify customer networks. The goal of this network fabric is to enable customer revenue growth by accelerating the rollout of business services.
The Cisco Digital Network Architecture (Cisco DNA) with Software-Defined Access (SD-Access) is the network fabric that powers business. It is an open and extensible, software-driven architecture that accelerates and simplifies your enterprise network operations. The programmable architecture frees your IT staff from time-consuming, repetitive network configuration tasks so they can focus instead on innovation that positively transforms your business. SD-Access enables policy-based automation from edge to cloud with foundational capabilities. These include:
â Simplified device deployment
â Unified management of wired and wireless networks
â Network virtualization and segmentation
â Group-based policies
â Context-based analytics
Cisco DNA Software

4G LTE can provide either primary connectivity or backup communications, offering network resiliency for business continuity. With greater agility and speed to deployment than wired solutions, 4G LTE can reduce network cost, and it complements wireline public and private network access. Practical applications of 4G LTE for organizations include parallel networks, primary connection, failover, in-vehicle connectivity, network convergence, and last-mile diversity. The 4G LTE NIM with the Cisco 4000 series Integrated Services Router leads the industry in bringing enterprise grade functions such as Quality of Service (QoS), Multi-Virtual Route Forwarding (Multi-VRF) , advanced VPN, and Unified Communications solutions over LTE.The Cisco 4G LTE NIMs (Figure 1) provide an enterprise-class 4G multimode LTE wireless WAN (WWAN) solution. With Cisco ISRs, 4G LTE is a powerful primary WAN access solution. Businesses can now run applications such as interactive video and telepresence on a primary 4G LTE connection, which is up to 50 times faster with far lower latency than third-generation (3G) links. These 4G modules support the latest Third-Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) Release 9 LTE standards. Cisco 4G multimode LTE WWAN NIMs provide persistent, reliable LTE connectivity with fallback and transparent handoff to earlier technologies. The cards provide bandwidth to support high-definition (HD) and peer-to-peer (P2P) video calls, providing customers with an excellent mobile broadband experience. The Cisco 4G LTE WWAN NIMs are tightly integrated with the services provided on the award-winning Cisco 4000 Series ISR devices, which deliver secure data, voice, video, and mobility services. The Cisco 4G LTE WWAN NIMs are supported on the modular Cisco 4200, 4300 and 4400 Series ISR devices.Enterprises are looking for ways to reduce deployment time, enable comprehensive media services, increase revenue, and improve business continuity. The Cisco 4G LTE WWAN NIMs, when coupled with a service providerâs wireless data plan, provide a rapidly deployable, high-bandwidth, reliable, and secure solution for branch offices and remote sites. With 4G LTE data rates, the Cisco 4G LTE WWAN NIMs offer a primary WAN link solution capable of running comprehensive branch-office services, including voice and video services.
